Barnabas Ministries, Inc. assisted churches in their kindergarten education of Filipino children. Some of the Centers began through Barnabas Ministries continue to serve under the governance of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Calarian, Zamboanga.

A unique evangelism program was conducted throughout the school at Bahada from which the Project Name was derived. The majority of the students were from Moslem families. The teachers give the children a Bible picture to color. The scripture story related to the picture is taught. The children color the picture and take their artwork home and explain the picture and the story to their parents. Barnabas Ministries was the only Christian witness in this Moslem barrio.

Sponsors received biographical and a photograph of any child they sponsor. The entire $6 ($72 annually) goes into the project. As per the policy of Barnabas Ministries, Inc., no portion of any designated gift is retained for administrative purposes. SPONSORS ARE NEEDED!
